About the Barn Nature Center

The Barn Nature Center is a non-profit, educational animal sanctuary for rescued and re-homed exotic pets.

Our staff at the BNC is dedicated to helping guests develop a deeper connection with wildlife and a greater appreciation for the vital role animals play in their natural ecosystems. Our ultimate goal is to bridge the gap between people, wildlife, and the environment—highlighting their interconnectedness and emphasizing that the loss of one has lasting impacts on the others.

Our interactive exhibits showcase over 45 diverse species from around the world, fostering a mission to offer quality care to our animal ambassadors and deliver environmental and wildlife education to the public.

Support the Barn Nature Center and make a lasting impact on nature, education, and community. Your donations drive our programs, ensuring the well-being of our cherished animals and the continuation of our educational initiatives. With over 10,000 annual visitors, we're creating connections with the natural world and fostering respect for all life.

Your contribution doesn't just sustain us—it powers community service programs for at-risk youth and adults with special needs, helping to build skills and empathy through hands-on animal interactions. Our partnership with Delaware Valley University means your support directly facilitates transformative internships for college students.

Every donation matters, whether it's gently used pet care items, wish list purchases, or a monetary contribution. Your generosity is appreciated by our staff, interns, volunteers, board members, visitors, and, of course, our animals. Join us in making a positive impact. Donate now and be a part of something extraordinary!
